This September, ALK Positive Belgium was represented at the World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC) 2026 in Seoul.
The WCLC is the annual conference of the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC) and one of the largest international meetings dedicated to lung cancer and other thoracic cancers. The 2026 edition took place from 12 to 15 September in Seoul, South Korea.

For several days, clinicians, researchers, industry representatives and patient advocates from around the world came together to share the latest advances in lung cancer research and treatment.

For us, WCLC was a valuable opportunity to follow new developments in ALK-positive lung cancer, targeted therapies, biomarker testing and future treatment options, but also to meet others working to improve lung cancer care and patient support.
Being there in person also means being able to bring information, contacts and new ideas back to our community in Belgium, and to make sure that the experiences and priorities of patients remain part of the conversation.
A few snapshots from an inspiring and very busy week in Seoul.
