WHO ARE WE?
“ALK Positive Belgium” is an organization founded by patients and their relatives to provide support, promote the interests and improve the quality of life of people with ALK+ lung cancer in Belgium. Our Belgian group of fellow sufferers is actively affiliated with the worldwide ALK+ network, which has more than 2500 members in 50 different countries.
Since 2017, this rare disease has been supported by an American research fund “ALK Positive” which has already launched several projects.
WHAT DO WE DO ?
We do not offer medical advice, but do offer an interactive online support group for patients or their caregivers.
Experiences can be shared there. We also organize regular virtual meetings between our members (monthly T’ALK café). We mobilize, raise public awareness and regularly consult the relevant organizations and institutions on the status and the latest treatments for ALK + lung cancer in Belgium, Europe and the rest of the world.
